About 43,000 high school seniors apply for admission by the Early Action deadline each year; between 425 and 450 of those will be selected as semifinalists. The semifinalist pool will participate in an asynchronous virtual interview.
Around 150 finalists will be named in late February and invited to participate in Stamps Scholars Weekend, a two-day on-campus event taking place April 4 – 5, 2025. A total of 50 Stamps President's Scholars will be named from that group.
Additionally, finalists who attend Stamps Scholars Weekend will be competing for one of our two top merit awards: the Stamps President’s Scholarship or Georgia Tech’s Gold Scholarship and given priority consideration for other Institute scholarships.
